Sandstorm was launched to support local talent, promote homegrown stories and build up the industry in the country. The studio will invite talented artists from around the world to mentor and work with local creators, helping them build flourishing, long-term careers.
Whether you’ve written a lively superhero adventure, an action-packed dystopian future or a heartwarming slice-of-life story, Sandstorm wants to hear from you. Submissions will open for pitches of comic books or graphic novels in any genre, theme or style for UAE nationals and residents on 23 May 2023.
